Don't let the 25 minutes fool you, you will work in this program
This is a good, fun workout program with the production quality you would expect from a Beachbody product (note: I am NOT a BB coach, so have nothing to sell you, I'm just giving my opinion).
This program is neither Insanity nor Asylum. It's about as intense as Insanity without all of the crazy plyometrics but with a little of the additional strength and agility from Asylum, but I wouldn't say it has the same focus as Asylum. Asylum is really geared more toward the very serious athlete, while T25 is more geared toward the very serious fitness enthusiast. To be honest, most of us aren't training for a professional level sport, so this is not a problem and you get an amazing workout in just 25 minutes. And it doesn't require all of the equipment of an Asylum-type workout, just a mat and the included band or some weights if you have them.
There's a Shakeology commercial before each workout, which is really annoying, but the discs are programmed so that you can fast...
Amazing DVD set
I've been playing around with a few different typed of diets, between paleo and keto mostly. I lost a lot of weight and started to feel a lot better so I was able to introduce some workouts into my routine.
I have been feeling very down about my body, because even though I have lost a lot of weight i do have so much excess skin around my stomach area and its really getting me mad. I thought by this point I would have a 6-pack or at least a flat tummy. Not the case. I bought Saun T's workout DVDs and ive been following them religiously.. because why not? I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anybody who asks, even though its really tough, well, it really works.
My current diet is a mostly paleo diet, and its simply ripping me into shape. Even though I am not really a supplement person, a friend of mine got me on to a Garcinia Cambogia supplement, which has been helping me progress even faster. Even...
What's the difference?
First off a little about me. I'm in my thirties and I have done various at home dvd's like Gilad, P90x, Insanity and Insanity Asylum. I have also worked with trainers and worked out on my own but I am by no means a fitness expert. I know a lot of people have asked what is the difference between Insanity and this new workout? I know Shaun T himself has said that the programs shouldn't be compared but it is inevitable.
So if you look at the first month of Insanity and take away the stretch those routines are roughly a half hour or less which pretty much equals the same amount of time as Focus T25. Now I have only done the first month workouts but here are some major differences I've noticed. T25 features progressive exercises. For example when you do switch kicks you start standing on the floor with no jumping and simply do a low switch kick. After around thirty seconds you will then jump and do a normal switch kick while still keeping your legs low. After this you...
